Our Management
Lorem Aminathia

Native of South Sudan, Paul Lorem Aminathia lost both parents to civil wars of the 1990’s. Self-educated in Kakuma Refugee Camp in Northern Kenya from age 5 to 14, he later received scholarships to Alliance High School in Kenya and African Leadership Academy in South Africa, and did a post-graduate year at Hotchkiss School in the United States.
A further scholarship to Yale University, he graduated with a B.A. in Economics in 2015, whereafter he worked at Equity Bank and Econet Media Limited in Kenya from 2015 to 2017.
He returned to studying with the Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University in China, where he graduated with a M.A. in Global Affairs in 2018.
Finally, he returned to South Sudan in 2019 to work with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and worked as a project manager at a South Sudanese parastatal in 2020 to extend cellular services into rural areas.
He has aimed at building education in South Sudan since 2012, moving to fulltime employment as CEO of Kinyeti Academy in June of 2022.
